This is the first time I had an opportunity to professionally photograph food. Indo Cafe is a cafe and catering service that specialises in Indonesian food in Canberra (www.indocafe.com.au). I accepted this project as a challenge as I have always been attracted to the art of food, especially Indonesian cuisine as it is universally known for its uniqueness, colour, presentation and of course wonderful taste. Here Yetty Daly’s (the owner of Indo Cafe) traditional dishes have a modern twist. I have also tried to capture the ‘kitchen behind the dishes’ as Indo Cafe hosted for a dinner.
